Jun 23, 2021

Are you moving out and need instruction on how to fill in a nail hole properly? It is important to take these steps to avoid any unwanted charges upon moving out.

Supplies:

  • Spackling Paste
  • Spackle or Putty Knife
  • Sponge
  • Small paint brush
  • Paint

Instructions:

  1. Push the hole in to ensure it is flat.
  2. Take a small amount of spackling paste on your finger or spackle knife.
  3. Fill in just the hole and wipe away the excess around the hole as you do not want to alter the texture on the wall.
  4. Take your damp sponge and run over the area very gently to remove any excess spackle.

If you do need to paint the hole, take a small brush and just paint the hole you filled in. New Paragraph
